looks awesome. What do you mean by taking off the side moldings?
How much to get the rims painted?

Never mind about the side mouldings. I definitely have to do that. How long did it take?

The side moldings are those strips that run down the side of the car. ill post a b4 and after pic. The rims i did myself, i sandblasted them first then used some self etching primer (dont know what it does but a bodyman told me to use it) then bought the paint and some clear and went to town.

by the way its dupli-color "performance" wheel paint.

selfetch restores the corrosion protection on the substrate. i dunno if the wheels look good with the 3. it just doesnt look right to me.

any techniques to remove the side mouldings? and how long did it take? Now that i have seen your car without them I have to take mine off.

looks great...

I notice you have mud flaps too? Where did you get those?

The side moldings took about 20 minutes to get off. I slipped some fishing line behind it to get it started then i just pulled it the rest the way off. there was only a little bit of sticky stuff left on there and that just came off with my finger nail.

The mudflaps are just some universal ones that i got at autozone last year. They were like 2 or 3 bucks and they serve their purpose (keep the side skirts from gettin all chipped up even more). I had to cut em to size a little bit but other then that they just screwed into the inside of the wheel well.

I love the work you did on the wheels! Those would look wicked on the Lava Orange!

I don't think that titanium look goes well with the blue. Just my opinion though...

No side moldings makes the car look better for sure. Not a bad free mod that takes little time and effort

Looks pretty damn good! Nice work!

So why do you think you'd lose radio reception if you get a stubby antenae?

Personally... with satelite, I have little-to-no use for the radio anyway.
