I've already seen those new faces influence current models here in Japan...There is a mitsu with a frontend very similar to that evo concept and the same goes for the subby...there definately going in that direction...

That Evo drawing looks pretty far fetched, although the STi looks very much like the way subaru's design is going

I like the STi design, but the EVO needs help. Is it just me or has Mitsubushi been lacking in WRC lately, while Subaru is dominating.

Do you think Mitsubishi is starting to fall in the same hole Nissan did back in the 90s? Nissans were bland and no one like them. Honda is bland too, but they're reliable. Then Nissan they did a 180 in 2002 with the Altima and the Maxima followed. Now they're talking about bringing the actual Skyline name to the states along with the Sylvia.

This all started with the newly designed Altima. Do you know how many Altimas I see everyday? Holy shit Nissan made a killing. I'm not even going to start with their Infinity line.

But back to topic. Look at the Galant and the Endeavor. Their chief designer must have been on something when he approved those designs. I consider the EVO as Mitsubishi's flagship, and they're screwing it up with that cheesy design.

Now look at the new Legacy. That car is beautiful as hell and I almost got rid of my Protege for one. If I had a choice between the two companies, Subaru would be my choice and I definately think they're going in the right direction

yes, it basically is the same as the evo VIII. as for these drawings, I've seen them around for like almost a year. I still haven't seen any other spy shots or anything but have seen a couple other artist renditions. Hopefully in about 6-9 months we'll see some solid evidence of what tey'll look like for real
