US Models being delivered?

This may sound crazy, but I'm almost positive I saw a black MSP down here in Cincinnati today. Dealer plates, Mazdaspeed spoiler, and the wheels. Unfortunately it was going the other way on a busy road so I couldn't tail it. We have quite a few Mazda dealerships in the area, so it might be true...

OOoooo! It is true! My dealer called and said they're expecting their first sometime tomorrow afternoon. I'll take my camera over to check it out. Unfortunately, it's not mine. Someone in one of the other threads mentioned that Mazda was shipping 18 out today, so perhaps it is one of those.

go on mazdausa.com and it will tell you which mazda dealers in cincinatti are mazdaspeed dealers so u can go to those maybe 3 or 4 dealers to see which one got em

slug, have you talked to your dealer recently? My guy doesn't know a damn thing about anything so I don't want to deal with calling him. I figure you're close enough that if you're guy is getting them, mine should be too.

i talked to him a cple days ago, to the sales manager actually, he said they got a letter last week (thanksgiving week) saying the cars would be shipping to them THIS week.....so when i spoke with him on monday he said he expected them on the lot within 10 days......

as we all know though, this doesnt NECCESARILY mean anything, although my dealer has never given me a date before so i am optimistic....

well...i talked to my dealer in cleveland....they're getting 16 MSP's and he confirmed that he was at that big Mazda conference and said that 16-18 were being shipped out this past week...didn't know which dealers in the area were getting them....the rest will come shortly thereafter.....he thanked me for being patient and said it was well worth the wait....he drove one in detroit and said it was amazing....the dealership managers were able to drive them and he got the thing up to 110 on some country roads and said it was amazing how surefooted it was at that speed....also said that when he leaned hard on the suspension....from the outside that is....he couldn't get the suspension to budge more than maybe a quarter of an inch.....pretty damn stiff...but he confirmed that the ride was smooth for as stiff as the setup is....must be because of the relatively soft springs and firm dampers.....ughhh....i can't wait.....probably won't be able to pick it up till january anyways cause i'm leaving for christmas....but oh well....another few weeks won't bother me....i'm just glad they're actually shipping

Called my dealer just now...nothing really new just that Mazda has notified him that they are beginning to ship. He wouldn't give me a date.

I live in wisconsin, so unfortunetly for me I will probably be one of the last ones to receive mine. :(

I live in Alaska, and my local (only) dealer is not recieving any MSPs, I guess that I need to get a plane ticket to check them out.

Wisconsin Sucks :( Well, they're coming from Michigan, so Wisconsin and the rest of that area could very well have them before the east coast or southeast.

Sorry guys, just checkin back in here. As it turns out, the guy who ordered the first MSP from my dealership picked it up before I could get in to check it out. There's my job, all gettin in the way again. Anyway, they received a black one, so they are being delivered. They expect their next one in a few weeks, in orange. Sorry I couldnt get some pictures.
