Hey Guys!

I am replacing my warped front rotors with new ones this weekend. Anyone done this before? If so, any tips or pitfalls to avoid?

Any help would be appreciated!!

Pretty basic, especially if you're only doing rotors....just follow the how-to on it. You replacing pads too?

Hey, Thanks! And yes I am doing the pads as well. The How-To I found just went over replacing the pads. Is there another one for the rotors?

How-to for rotors: take old ones off, put new ones on. They may need a "love tap" to come off.

The how-to shows the caliper mounting bolts, which is all you would need to remove to replace rotors.

if you have really thin pads, you might want to close a C-clamp on the piston so that when the new pads go in, they will fit around the rotor

Every time I see the RIP on your posts a tear comes to my eye. I just hate to see an MP3 go..... (cryhard)
