I need to replace my air hose and it's freakin $80 bux for the hose so why not just get a new intake for the car, but i am having a hard time finding one for my model (1.5L) 1995 ex protege. I know someone that knows someone that can make one for me but they're being lazy  so maybe someone on here can give me an answer (help)

No one but Essential Speed makes intakes for our cars (aprx $200). Other then that, you play around with eBay cheapos, or intakes made for our cars and modify them to fit. Its not that hard. I made my old CAI from scrap 2" exhaust pipes, and bend by eye. But I only have in the car for the summer, and even then I have to look out for rain/water on the road. If you are curious as to how it looks, you can check out my cardomain page ---> http://www.cardomain.com/id/turbonium959. Goodluck.

P.S. Stop by www.clubprotege.com (http://www.clubprotege.com/) it has many more people with the car like yours.

thats nice ass custom work dude. ive never seen thatThanks. It was really half-assed, but it works great. I am going to try to make another one, only this time the bends will be better, and I will give it a nice finish.

I just cannot wait until the good weather comes back, and re-install it. It makes such a difference! I went auto-xing last year, and at first I had stock intake, and when I was on the course, the only thing heard was the tires. Then I put CAI on, and it was the only thing you could hear when I was on the course.

go to autozone or pepboys or where ever and buy a 98+ honda accord intake. aprox.50-80 bucks, and fab that. I did this with my 1.5. go to my threads in 1st-2nd generation performance.
