To install the FMIC, it will take at least 3 hours.
Last time it took me and Victor little over 4 hours.
You will have it done in 3 hours if you dont run into any problem. Under the condition that you dont have to do any cutting.

I am almost done with the how to for it guys. It's just taking a little longer since I am not actually installing it as I am doing the write up. I will have it done by saturday for your install party though.:)

I would set aside at least 4 hours... and that is if everything goes without any hiccups.

The clamps you'll get with the FMIC will toast the clamps you buy at the store. Those things are hard core. I suggest waiting til you have everything in hand, and you can check everything to make sure it all looks like it will hook up (meaning you understand how to put it together) BEFORE you start opening up the car. Don't want to be stuck with it torn apart.

The only tricky part to the install is the actual mounting of the FMIC.

2 people can install it easy together. just make sure you mount it as far back as possible (VERY IMPORTANT!) or you will not be able to get the bumper back on and will end up having to remount it like i had to do

Does your kit come with BOV? what's included in the kit?
You might need some vac hoes and hoes connectors.

glyph
04-27-2005, 06:31 PM
good point. If you got the BOV, you need to install a T-junction somewhere in one of the lines, preferrrably right off one of the manifold lines (right off the dynamic chamber). Make sure you have a good size hose. 1/8" or so should be fine. Local auto parts store has tons of sizes, just make sure it's the right size.
