you mean the FM p5? that thing will smoke the msp.

Cost less...and have better upgradebility....you should shoot your self for not getting the FM p5.

It smokes the MSP on 4-5 psi of boost vs the msp's 6.9 psi of boost, and doesn't have internal psi limiters to deal with.

Oh yea, it has a sunroof, and it looks nicer too.

But obviously a modded p5 espically a turbo p5 should smoke most stock cars.

So it seems the Turbo P5 > MSP right now...for just about everything BUT handling (unless if you mod that p5, then that p5 defently owns most cars on the road...)

But the Turbo P5 doesn't show how much potential the MSP has...because the MSP has alot more anti-tampering devices, like the boost is limited to 6.9 psi, by the ECU, so you don't really wanna screw with that for now. Then yea, you mess with the ECU anything goes wrong, there goes your warrenty.

Then how bout emission laws? is the FM P5 still using stock cats? is it carb legal?

but you guys enjoy your cars. My spec V will become my winter beater soon, and I'll be crusin in a 350Z or RX8 in 2-3 years time :)

But before then...my spec v will undergo, a turbo, to put 275 to the wheels, on 6 psi of boost...coilovers, and other various mods, probally this project will start a year from this up comming summer, when I acctually get some cash to throw in to the car. (all nismo, and carb legal baby!)

but...whatever, I don't care anymore. I'll smoke you 1/4 mile (with new tires)...but you'll hand me my ass like 6 times over when I go autoxing (but more like I'll see your ass lots of times)

But, this car is my first car, didn't even pay for it, it's my temp car until I get into med, when I'll get a paid for RX8, or 350Z, depends on what is out 2-3 years from now. When I'll be switching over my Spec V to a winter car.

No I'm not kicking my self for not waiting for a car, that didn't appeal to me in the first place. I wanted a sun roof, cruise control, I wanted it soon, I didn't want to waste too much of my parents money. I wanted lower insurance rates, this is just a tempory all season car. Then if I got a car with stock turbo, it HAD to put atleast 200 whp, or atleast be SUPER easy to change that, without having to spend much more cash. I'm an audiophile, so...both sound systems to me suck, because from what I can get from the aftermarket, just blows it away, so I would replace that already.

but enjoy your car. I'll besure to blast by you in my car 2-3 years from now.

oh yea...did you see that 1991 sentra that smoked an S2000? that's a car to be scared of, it smoked modded WRXes, Audio TTs. Guy buys a 1000 dollar car, spends like 10 grand, and it handles, and flys.

the intercooler piping actually has nothign to do with calloway since the intercooler and piping is off the European turbo diesel protege, which mazda makes all the parts for - so the intercooler and piping are made by mazda

yea, my car, whoopde do, it's my temp car, 2-3 years down the road, it'll be my winter beater, that's right a 3 year old car, turned winter beater.

a car that is almost as good as the MSP, turned winter beater. Even if I got a MSP, it would become a winter beater.

Right now, I'm gonna save up all my money. 1.5 years from now, make my spec into a turbocharged monster, then throw some dedicated winter rims and tires on it.

Well I was at my mazda dealership yesterday when i was taking a piss. I noticed a guy cleans the bath room and i ask him whats up with the MSP. He told me that aliens from outer space came and destoyed all the MSP with their Laser guns. Now mazda has to scramble to makes new ones.

BUT SHHHHHH. don't tell any one. Becuase it a big government cover up. they don't want the public about aliens so the government told Mazda to come up with other reason why it is taking to long. That why the excuses sounds like a 5 year old made them up.

And it's all true. The guy cleaning the bathrooms at my Mazda dealership swore on his crack pipe.

I made a deal with relatives, if I get into med, I get nicer new car (under a certain amount of money) :)

I never saw my spec v to be a car I'd keep for more than 4-5 years anyways.

Everyone on this board seems so negative, wonder why, the other mazda boards seem so nice and friendly, I guess this one is the odd one out.

But anyways, if I don't get into med, I guess my spec v will remain my summer car...but 2-3 years down the road, I should of saved atleast 15 thousand to buy a project car, or throw more mods onto my v. But we'll see.

yea...it will all depend if I Get into medicine or not if I get that turbo for my spec :)

But...no the Spec's engine is CRAPPY for bosting, our trannys may be nearly indestructable, but for boosting, it (our engines) can't handle boost, maybe 8 psi AT most.

but if I stay NA, it should beable to go up to 280 to the wheels :) (but that requres alot more money than a turbo)
