Is your steering wheel locked?

I've had that happen with a poorly cut key before. I just kept playing with it. BE SURE NOT TO BEND THE KEY.

Is your steering wheel locked?
Not if the car is on on. I just installed an exterior LED conversion yesterday but the load equalizers that fix the turn signals have been giving me electrical annoyances but this is the first serious one.

it got to be the blinker fluid then.. it's not L.E.D. compliant.. always check that before doing the conversion!

heh, I managed to get it out after quite a few times starting the car and turning it off. It's these damn load equalizers that suck the extra power (cause the led's are lower power) so the leds don't seizure blink, I have it mounted and connected in my rear tailight housing but the amount of power its putting into the ground must be screwing with stuff? Is that possible? I think I'm gonna relocated it to under the hood and give it a direct ground to the stock ground point.

Mess with the position of the wheel.

yep, got very impatient and called mazda i had to turn the wheel hard while turning the key

and for future reference, it was my led brakelights that were messing things up, i'll need a load equalizer for those too now
