Well the reason that I have so many miles on my car is that my old job (sales) I had to drive in my car all day, and now my new job is 34 miles away from home so it all just f%!#in sucks (pissed)

So are you complaining that you have to drive your fabulos car too much? :'( I hate thinking of the 5 stting home doing nothing all day. I wish I was driving it.
And passing 50K was a great thing for me. (I'm at 53 after about 23/4 years) It's one step closer to the car truly belonging to you and not the dealer. You are no longer under their control.

why so sad?....milage doesn't mean it's the end of the world, it how you keep up on the car that counts. A forum member on here claimed that he made it to 100,000 miles on two mazda's with no problems. Don't worry .....These cars could last us a good 200,000 miles easy with minor issues

34K in two years. Would like to try to keep it under 50K in 4 years. I also have a ford Ranger I try to drive at least once/twice during the week especially if it rains. My daily commute is ~ 52 miles from home. Only about 6 if I stay at my gf. Oops. (alright)

I'm up to 37,934 miles and I bought my baby new on 1-9-04 with 124 miles. Basically near 38k in less than 16 months, lol my warranty should run out by the end of August at this rate! I average roughly 100 miles per day with my baby, plus all the idling my car does while at work sheesh I am working my P5 overtime lol.

Sure, I drive the thing...daily. I have a five mile commute, so don't put many miles on her. Just trying to take care of this car. My first Protege (94) had 130K on it over 9 years. So, I don't have a habit of driving long distances. Great for resale I guess :)

My '02 Pro5 is just about to hit 29k. All this talk of mileage makes me wonder about future problems that might crop up. As the previous owner of 2 classic Sentra SE-R's, I was on www.se-r.net constantly. There is a "Common Problems & Fixes" section on that site that discusses just that, typical problems and issues that start showing up in the cars as the mileage rises. I had found it especially helpful with my '91 that I put over 100k on in 6 years before it was totaled by some "tool" racing his buddy to the bar after a softball game (man, I'm still bitter about that 5 years later). Anyway, it's just a thought. Maybe we have something like that already and I'm(newbie) just missing it. Thanks, Pro5Monkey

Nah, was special that day 100k/5yrs, but was over 50k just under 2yrs, soo I'll way mileage the warranty before 5 years. Could have been an exteneded warranty, but they never said it was at the time, so I just figured was a special or something.

I bought my P5 with 39,000 miles on it, in August 2004. I have since put about 10K on it. I'm at 49,300 right now. Its only a matter of time. So, I just need to make sure everything is working fine on the car, so that I don't have to take it to the dealer and warrenty something.

Got 65.5K miles on my 03.5. I haven't been driving it much in the last 6 months. Got the commute down to 100 miles 4 days a week now. The milage is great, a perfect excuse to get parts for the car. Got Illumina struts using that excuse.

Somehow I just can't see my car lasting that long. My old car was a 1984 LeSabre coupe. I sold it with 199,000 K with everything original, and was still getting 19 mpg (w/ the 5.0 L). Somehow I doubt my Mazda will make it that far :(

I miss my Nissan Hardbody 93 Truck. the "Grey Ghost". It had 279,*** miles on it and It only quit runnings cause some ass was Parked in the middle of the road on a blind turn. And that was on the Original Motor and Tranny :)
