You might be better off searching through Miata.net because there will be more Miata owners there. Everyone will have different preferences on what makes a good exhaust system. I for one like something more race inspired so I chose the RS*R GTII exhaust. Which I know for a fact some people would not like because of the noise and looks. Then there are those who want functionality and don't care about look and I assume those people would go for the Enthuza exhaust. Either way I hope you find the info you're looking for.

I am a fan of Borla. Not TOO loud, and a quality sound. Price is no object for me. It's quality versus quantity. :D

I've been on a ride with a 1.6L that had the full Jackson Racing setup. Sounded fantastic.

I'm partial to the Enthuza Budget Racer :) Not something I woud recomend for the street though. Kinda loud. But with the turbo acting like a resonator, it sounds great. If you close your eyes, sounds like a V8 :D

Borla. If you want a good performing muffler that's not too loud. I got mine used for $75, one of the best modifications I've done. Go to miata.net and read the reviews.
