To all you guys with "light" sub 20-lb 17" rims...did you notice less wheel hop than from your stock racing harts?
That wasn't cured wih the clutch / flywheel replacement?

yah man.. wheelhop sucks ass... i've noticed its a little excess in my mp3... not sure if its cuz it aint in the greatest condition at the moment... but from what i can remember its always been pretty bad... which sucks... cuz it puts a damper on burnouts when the front of your car is just bouncin up and down :(

wheel hop is all suspension and tire compound. A lighter wheel with hard ass tires will induce more wheel hop.

well that makes sense b/c the tires on our cars are on the hard side. that why they suck in the cold. b/c they are hard and need a while to get to the normal operating temp. am i right???

If it hops ride the clutch a little longer. don't drop it so fast
I notice a lot less hop since I have installed my 14" winter wheels.
I'm sure that our Racing Hart wheels are too much heavy.

yeah i lost racing against a civic because of that damn wheel hop. i forgot about the mp3 bouncing like it was on hydolics if you dump the clutch

I have the winter steelies on with 15inch Semperits and it comes off the line much better than with the Dunlop/RacingHart combo.
