OK...so I go to my local dealer where we bought my wifes new Mazda 6i 2 weeks ago. (Russell Mazda-Clearwater, Flawda) anyways I ask the sales Manager when they expect to be getting in the Mazdaspeed 6. He says "Not till the first part of 2006, and we are only getting 2 of them". He also said "Mazda is only making 1200 of them". I for one find this a little hard to believe.

Is this the truth???? (dunno)

There isn't a real timeline. The timeline is constantly adapting and changing...thus why the car has been delayed 3 times already. Expect at earliest an august/september showing.

As for the limited supply, thats only the "first batch". There are more then one batch.

Just follow Mazda's previous cycles with the MSP and MSM. I think the total production this far for the MSM is over 9000 cars a year??? Its rediculous. Its why in some areas you can pick one up for LESS then a standard miata (17-18k new).
