1.8L coil pack

Question for anybody. Are ignition coil and coil pack the same thing? Im thinking of replacing the coil pack on my 1.8 and I have heard they dont cost too much, but when I called the dealer he quoted me 192.15 for the ignition coil. Thats not cheap. I thought I had seen someone say they got a coil pack for 27 bucks or so. Where am I confused? Thanks guys

i dont have a 1.8L but from what i know ignition coils and coil packs are the same, just depends on which one your car has on it. and on the 1.8 im not sure what was on it. but 192.15 seems really high, even for a dealer. id look elsewhere

In Canada there was a recall on 1.8 coil packs,chk to see if you have a recall in the USA.
