No. Not if it's a BP series.

Yes, the 1.8 DOHC (BP) head will interchange with the 1.8 SOHC (B8) in terms of bolting up. The blocks are identical.

problem is the SOHC is lower compression than the DOHC. If you do put the DOHC head on I would reccomend swapping the pistons out for some Miata ones or something.

i have done the swap and it is easier to doa whole engine rather than the head

when u do the motor u will need a trans and mounting bracket
and a few extras

your right, swapping motors is probably easier than a head swap b/c you would also need to piston swap or face an uber low CR.
Whole motor in and out vs. head pistons and all the other stuff you *should* replace while you have the bottom end apart.

The swap seems simple enough :) I'm picking up a 70k mile BP for 231 bucks, 60 to ship it :) That's what I would do, SOHC is so yesterday :P
