First Ticket

I got my first ticket in my 3 today. Did 55 in a 40, stupid cop was hidden well. good thing its been 2 years since ive taken Defensive driving school! no points on my license!

I dont know if anyone notices but out of all Mazdas the 3's seem to be stopped more than other cars. It's as if cops are anoyed by seeing Mazda 3's on the roads and just want to bug us. I remember when I had my Mica Black Mazda 3 I once received a parking ticket for being within a certain distance from a intersection regulated by traffic lights when I was parked in the midle of a street between cars. The closest intersection being at least 150 feet away, regualted by stop signs (screwy). Of course I explained to the city where it was parkeed and how this is bull shit to put a ticket on a car for no fucking reason, and I never had to pay it.

Oh ya, forgot to mention I was also stopped in the states doing 88 in 65 zone and turn no signal on the highway when there was no fucking cars anywhere, it was 4 am. I only signaled right for the cop to signal I was pulling over when he turned on his UFO lights

I got stopped sunday, doing 20km/h over the limit...the cop just stopped me, said 'hey, pretty lights you got there, what are they for?" me "my turbo and my oil pressure", her 'Oh you got nawz?" me laughing "no no, these engines are too weak for that, the turbo almost kills it', her 'let me have a look" after looking around a bit, and not finding anything, I ask her what she's looking for. She says she doesn't know but she will when she finds it. SO I sit there a bit longer while this hot cop keeps rooting around, finally she gives up, and ask for my information, she checks it. Nothing. Comes back, gives me my stuff, tells me I was going 20 over, and that I should be more careful next time. Ok, thanks man, what a waste of my time, but atleast I didn't get a ticket. Still, she spent like 10-15 minutes rooting around my engine bay...I mentioned the fact that I was pretty sure she needed a warrent for that but that I didn't give a shit, since I have nothing to hide. It's how the second she saw guages she thought I was some racer or something..cause she was parked at the stopsign, watching for people running it, and then decided to follow me...I figure she didn't give me a ticket since she didn't even have my recorded speed..lol..just some bullshit hassle. Ah well, atleast she was hot:D and I didn't get a ticket

Bah! I have had six tickets issued to me over the years and not one has gone on my license.

Issuing speeding tickets is just a way to raise money for local governments.

Yeah it was my first time being pulled over though so it kinda sucked. Cop was pretty cool though, he was like you know you were not really going to fast but there were a lot of people around and it would have looked bad if i didnt pull you over. just be more careful next time.

Dude i was on a military base goin 110 and i saw this car come over and then i slew down and around the turn i saw a cop and she got me for 17 over... but i didnt get a ticket she was impressed on how bad ass my 3 was :)

You consented to the search. At that point she didn't need a warrant.

ive got pulled over countless times since ive got my mazda3. i only had one speeding ticket before i got that and now ive got 3 and i gotta go to court the 29th to try and get out of another one. i dont know what it is about this car but the cops seem to like it. another thing is ive got more speeding tickets since i put in my radar detector......weird

False sense of security. Subconsciously you think you're protected, so you speed more often and at a higher margin.

ya it was a MP but i have had my radar detector and its helped me so many times u just need to know how to use it cuz cops are gay and like to hide w/ there radar off... assess....

i was in my friend's 87 accord, really old... body well kept though, but only the body.

we got pulled over cause the car was TOO LOW, or so the cop said
but thats cause we had 5 ppl in the car, man tat was soooo embrassing... lol

unfortunatley for us stopping traffic violators is their job. i drive quite possibly the most policed road in maryland. i see at least 4 people get pulled over when i'm at work.

I got my first ticket in my 3 a while back.....dang motorcycle cop...

i was doing 40MPH in a 25MPH residential picking my sister up from school...

he freakin pulled over me and another guy at the same time....

and i got pulled over once, cause they thought i was DUI.... I was just on my cell phone and i was still learning Stick.......he let me off.....cause he couldn't really ticket me for anything. i had no idea what he pulled me over for until he came up to my car and asked if i had had anything to drink.....it made me laugh.....

i think the most lucky i have been was when me and a scion where goin 110 in houston and the undercover cop pulled us over and just lectured us the guy in the passanger of my car had beer in between his legs and through it over the rail w/o the cop noticing... that was a crazy night...

well unfortunantley the cops do have a job to do... to bad otherwise well i dont know what amierca would be like with no speed limits.. wait we'd all be dead... Be nice to your local cops B/c as many of u can see they give alot of breaks up to a certain limit... Hint School zones are a bitch to talk your way out of a ticket.. (thought) and its not the birghtest idea to speed through one eithier, howd u feel to go home one day and tell your family i hit a kid on his way home from first grade today, he was running to his mother to show her his A on his spelling test.

I'm a member of around 12 forums and i hate when this subject comes up its almost like its the cops fault YOU were speeding, they have a job to do and alot of them do it very well. Rember next time your speeding what you risk and if you get caught tough shit be a grown up and deal with and dont blame the cop cuz the Judge wont buy it eithier..

Just my two pennies in the pot, thoght id share my thoguhts before we got to a all out Cop bashing party.

And if any of you are wonder no im not a cop as of yet, im in school in a CJ program, wanna go to the FBI much respect for the City dealing with alot of low stuff everyday and still puts on a good face when he/she gets home. If u ever get the chance to take a ride with a cop for a ride along i sugest you so it, its a real eye opener into a world most of us will never know.
