6spd MTX for the 6i's overseas. 5spd ATX for the 6i's overseas.

Most likely the US won't see the 6spd, but possibly the 5spd. The cars will see an increase in curb weight due to "stiffening" to help the Mazdaspeed MPS look better performance wise vs the upcoming models.

The biggest aesthetic changes are to the rear. There aren't any exhaust tips anymore. That and most of the wheels now come with Ultra Fugly +5 powers.

Mazda, making your sporty family sedan look less sporty and more like a family sedan every year.

The miata.net guys have identified this behavior (a long with mazdaspeed) as mazda's attempt to flush out old stock before a major refresh. The second you see a mazdaspeed version, or a subtle refresh, it means your car is about to be obsolete in a year or two.

The exhaust tips are like the ones on my cousins 03 2.3L sedan which curve down instead of having the straight chrome tips. The Chrome tips are apart of an option package?

no...curve downs were common on the overseas single mufflers 6/atenzas. There is 2 difrent tips now. the ones you see on V6 and the ones you see on the V6 covered up witht he bigger tips(sown in redfire red pictt above) I hate the shorter grille and the rims...I'm gonna be doing the center conole second I get par#s tho! thats gonna be a perfect radio swap Vs painting the metra.

I guess I never noticed that there are 4 bulbs in the headlight housing, you got highs, lows, turn signal and ??? what is the fourth? Daytime running lights?

I like the little detail on the lower grill, accentuating the holes in the front faccia with silver outlines is definately becoming a new design cue.

fogs...nonsport get them in lower bumpr and V6 sport get them in headlight between the hi beam and turn sig

I only reason I didn't buy it was because of no power sunroof. I just looked at my cousins base 2.3 and the tips are curved down with no chrome tips.

! thats wierd never seen any of those around here...I see base models all day.

Jliao thats already Sport package item on V6 with the all black leather interor :) even the window switch pannel is brushed aluminum like the center console unlike us base models.

I like are Mazda 6's better. Yep our exterior and their new interior...with the exception of the door locks and that extra empty button on the lcd. Sucks the 6 has to be imported to get hids and navi stock...
