I have an 03 MSP, I am looking at putting a larger blow off valve on it. I already have a valve and all I am just wondering if it will work on it, I am thinking that there is not gonna be enough boost to operate it very well..... the BOV is a TurboXS Type RFL......... if anyone can help me out if this will work get back at me.

The pics in the first post need to be updated, but this is how most of us have dealt with the BOV setup:

Discreetspeed was the second one to do this setup after I did, and he used the RFL at that time. He was very happy with the results.
Feel free to shoot me a PM if you ever have any questions about the setup.

So there should be no problem with the boost issue..... like this BOV is not too much for the turbo setup as it is now at stock?

it's overkill most likely. you probably won't get a super loud sound out of it but it will definitely do its job. you just need a good vacuum source to pull the valve open fast and keep it open.

Where do you think a good vacuum sorce would be? The only bad thing I want a loud BOV in the car of stock parts. I don't wanna go front mount and stuff yet, just exhaust, CAI, and Louder BOV.

Hum, if you want to put on a BOV, you will need the hardpipes.
Have you ever think about just keep the stock BPV, but with the CAI and downpipe, it will sound like a real BOV(some times even better)
I just had my FMIC installed with Greddy type-S, I dont have CAI, so the BOV is not that lound. P.S. I am running stock boost.

some people are using the current vacuum source for the bov and running the wastegate line somewhere else. others are tapping into the brake booster line. i'd go with that line cause it's a really strong vacuum.
i'm sure you'll be loud enough. with my intake, people can hear the stock bypass valve from down the street.

Where would a good place to mount that large of a BOV at? As you know the RFL is much larger than a greddy....
Or another option is selling the RFL and going with the MAM FMIC Kit with the greddy bov....
