Hey guys Im up here in Vail, Co where its slowly starting to warm up....but its still pretty cold in the AM, and when I start the car up (02 pro es) in the morning, the e-brake light stays on for the duration of the trip. the e-brake is NOT engaged at all but it stays lit. My breaks are also a bit squeaky, so im assuming this coupled w/ the break light means i need new break pads? If this is the case, where would i go about getting these? Can i go to a local auto store like napa and expect them there? Or is this a special order part? how much should they cost?

unrelated question...my right side headlight is very foggy and has alot of condensation in it, im assuming theres a crack/leak in it somewhere, is this a common problem, and if so, how should i go about fixing it? Thanks in advance!

Sounds to me like you are low on brake fluid. Squeaky pads could mean that they need replacing, but I would look first. I ordered new pads recently since my fronts started squeaking, but when I looked at them they still had over half the pad left. I figure the colder weather was making my brakes squeak a little. Check the brake fluid level in the reservoir. If it's low it will cause the brake light to come on.

Condensation in the headlight generally means that their is a leak somewhere in the seal. Moisture could also get in around where the bulbs go in. I'm not sure how cold weather effects this, but mine always likes to fog up in the humid summer weather. There probably isn't much you can do to fix it other than resealing it, but you may make the leak worse.
