my clutch is slipping beyond belief, i havnt driven my car in 2 weeks b/c i cant afford to have a new one installed...I am very mechanically inclined and have a pretty stout garage my question is can i drop the tranny and install a new clutch myself or stop being cheap no flames i quit my job 4 weeks ago shits rough

just one question to anyone who has changed a clutch in the protege, will the bellhousing and the transmission lower out of the car together?

Umm the transmission comes out from the bottom very easily. If you are very mechanically inclined you should have no problems.
